I think I need a new start. I’m deleting this tumblr after I make a new one this week. Any of my friends on here will be notified. :)
I decided that when Mic & I started dating that he was going to be the one that I was not going to mess it up with. Previously I had been afraid to speak my mind in relationships, afraid to ask things, and definitely afraid to lose someone. Within the first six months of a relationship, I don’t think you should ever be afraid of losing someone because you have something to say. If you’re just being a jerk that’s different, but the first six months or so, I feel like you really need to let it all hang out. There shouldn’t be any surprises about who you really are or who you’re going to be in the future.
Girls are especially afraid for things to go wrong, so they’re very timid in relationships. That’s not how it should be, but you also shouldn’t run your man into the ground like a psycho. There’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed. A man should always feel like the man in the relationship. I know I’ve crossed that line sometimes, but I think I’m better at it now. I cannot stress how important it is not to cross that line because if you had a good man, he might not be so good anymore after that.
Besides you want your man to act like a man, not like a little punk. You want to know that if something happens, and you need him that he can take care of you. Don’t you want to know that? If you totally emasculate him, you might find yourself having to deal with many situations alone. Let me tell you, there is nothing more gross than to see a girl leading her boyfriend/husband around by his balls. It’s just not a pretty sight everybody!!!
The last thing to know is that every relationship is different. You can’t compare your new relationship to your last relationship because the person you’re with should be completely different than the last loser you were with. Don’t treat him exactly like the last guy you were with.
** Oh btw, this was a random post. Don’t expect many more like this. Lol and yes, it was inspired by a real life couple that I know!**
Some of these ladies make it way too obvious that they are into my man.
